Escape Studios at UCAS on Monday 18 April at the ExCel London, Royal Victoria Dock

Escape Studios will be taking a stand at the next big UCAS event - the ExCel London, at Royal Victoria Dock on April 18th and 19th.

The event takes place at the ExCel exhibition space in East London. Come and see us at the Pearson College Stand.

We'll be showing off some of the latest animation tools, and explaining how we can help our students become professional animators and visual effects artists.

What mades Escape Studios different?
Escape Studios is very different from other university courses in 3D animation. We won't make you write long essays on animation - we recognise that practical, real-world skills are what students need to get hired in today's tech-driven industry.

What is this UCAS event all about?
University fairs like this one are organised by UCAS, in order to offer visitors and students the chance to talk about study at university and get a feeling for what course is right for them.

So, if you're interesting in studying 3D animation, this event is a great chance to come along, see what we do, and find out more about our courses. You'll find us at the Pearson College London stand - our parent organisation.

What are we showing?
We'll be showing off some cool animation tools and techniques, explaining what we do - and how our students can learn the crucial skills to break into the industry.

Can you bring your portfolio/demo reel for review?
Absolutely. I am always delighted to look at demo reels and portfolios, and offer advice on what sort of work we are looking for.  To see more about our Portfolio Guidelines, see this post.

What is the ExCel London?
ExCel London is an exhibitions and international convention centre in the London Borough of Newham. It is located on the northern quay of the Royal Victoria Dock in London Docklands, between Canary Wharf and London City Airport.

How to get there
Get there via the Docklands Light Railway (DLR). The nearest stations are Custom House and Prince Regent.
