Becoming a studio assistant at Escape Studios is a great way to launch a career in animation and VFX - our studio assistants invariably move on to careers in industry, after working and studying here, perfecting their demo reels and developing industry contacts.
Steve is a very talented animator who has worked hard since the end of the course to keep polishing his demo reel, even taking acting classes to develop his skills as an actor. After all, animators are actors too - we just work with a pencil or a mouse rather than with our bodies.
Steve will be helping our second year undergraduate students to master the fundamentals of character animation and character performance.
Many congratulations to Steve - and a very warm welcome to Escape Studios.
