Movement & Narrative
Movement & Narrative is a two-week mini-module at Level 4 (ie the first year of undergraduate studies) exploring creativity, storytelling, design and acting. It forms part of CR4002 Creative Foundations, itself part of the First Year of Undergraduate Study at Escape Studios.

Assignment
For Movement & Narrative students produce a pitch for a new animated TV or web series, including an Art Bible. You can see some examples here.

Software
Some software, such as Photoshop and Premiere, is taught in this module but the main focus is on ideas and creativity.

Common First Year
CR4002 is compulsory for all our first year students, whether they are studying games, animation or VFX.  In their first year of studies, all our undergraduate students study a common art and design curriculum, enabling them to understand the whole animation, games and VFX pipeline before committing to a single specialism in their second year.
