"Robotic Repairs" by 2nd Year VFX Students

Robotic Repairs
Escape Studios presents "Robotic Repairs - A Steampunk Story" a group project created by our second year VFX students at Escape Studios.  It was produced by Daniel BeechingFiona Lee was the 2D lead, and Matthew O'Shaughnessy was the 3D Lead.

Robotic Repairs was completed as part of Studio Module PR5001.

Group VFX Project
Robotic Repairs was completed as part of Studio Module PR5001, a collaborative module in which second-year VFX students work together on short film projects, simulating as closely as possible the environment and pipeline of a real animation studio.   

VFX Techniques & Software
Robotic Repairs was created using a variety of VFX techniques including 3D modelling, rotoscoping, cleanup, digital matte painting, CG integration and grading.  Softwares included Maya, Nuke, Photoshop and Silhouette FX.
