Saturday Club starts up in January 2020; in the meantime you can register your interest here.
Saturday Club is open to students between the ages of 13-16, and aims to give them a taste of life in the creative industries, such as animation, visual effects and games.
Saturday Club is open to all, but is especially aimed at students from disadvantaged backgrounds, many of whom lack the opportunity at school to tackle creative subjects.

The Saturday Club is a charitable organisation that aims to give students, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds, an opportunity to explore and develop their creativity, and learn about new subjects that they wouldn't have a chance to study in school.
Working with Saturday Club, Escape Studios offers young people the chance to learn the skills they will need to flourish in the creative industries.
For many students, The Saturday Club will have been their first encounter with creative thinking, and the creative industries, during their time in education.
Saturday Club at Escape Studios is led by tutors Jonathan McFall and Phil Meredith, both highly skilled VFX artists.
Escape Studios is committed to widening participation in the creative industries and helping all students, no matter what their background, to reach their full potential. Running Saturday Clubs is a way of walking the walk, as well as talking the talk.
- “Escape provided me with the opportunity to do something I otherwise wouldn’t have been able to learn due to resources and motivation. I never would have believed I could make something like this.”
- “Saturday Club is awesome. I’d never have been able to use Zbrush without it, so I would never have known how fun it is.”
- “The Saturday Club has been a great learning experience. I have a better idea of what I want to do after I leave 6th form.”
Last year's End of Year Show went on display at Somerset House in Central London from 9th-17th June, including private viewings for VIPs, family and friends. The Saturday Club Show is the culmination of all the hard work created as part of the Escape Studios Saturday Club Campaign, launched as part of Escape's 15th anniversary celebrations, and part of our commitment to making animation, games and VFX training more diverse and more widely accessible.
