The Spline Doctors Are Coming! London Animation Workshop on June 3-4 in Greenwich

The Spline Doctors are coming ! We're excited to welcome two leading animators to London in June, running a superb not-for-profit animation workshop.

Andrew Gordon (Pixar Directing Animator) and Kyle Balda (Co-Director of Minions and The Lorax) are presenting a two-day workshop which will "raise your animation skills to the next level". And, best of all, "VFX Jam" are offering a special discount to friends of Escape Studios.

Meet the man who made the Minions!
What is this event all about?
Andrew and Kyle are two top industry professionals who are keen to share their knowledge with a new generation of animators.  They use interactive training techniques and class exercises to help animators raise their game.

Who is the class aimed at?
Animators of all stripes. 3D, 2D, Stop-motion and Games.

Why this class?
Andrew and Kyle love to teach. According to Andrew:
"It's an understatement to say I love teaching. Many years ago I started doing these little workshops with my old school. I found it really fun and inspiring… I always wanted to share what I learn on a day to day basis with people out there and I learn so much from students. There are so many options these days for education… Still, many schools don’t teach what students need. This class is hopefully a window into what you need".

Where and when?
Greenwich University,  Friday June 3 and Saturday June 4

How much does it cost?
Escape is offering a special discounted rate of £200 for students, and for practitioners the cost is £225 with these discount codes:
Students enter the the code: Escape-Edu
Professionals use the code: Escape-Pro
(codes are case sensitive and will be deducted when you press order now)
