Shepherd's Building - our home in The Bush |
We're taking extra space in the Shepherd's building, just south of Shepherd's Bush Green, which is our current home.
It means we can expand our current operations, rather than having to find new space in a different part of town.
This is excellent news for all our students. Shepherd's Bush is a vibrant part of West London with excellent transport links (three tubes, one overground, and plenty of buses).
The Shepherd's Building is full of creative media companies like Endemol (Big Brother), Jellycat (toys) Tiger Aspect (animation - Charlie & Lola) and even Gu - who make the chocolate puddings.
Our course is validated by Kent, a Top Twenty University in the UK |
Taking extra space in our current home also means that our BA/MArt students can work alongside the students doing our short courses, and benefit from their sense of purpose and energy. It's amazing what our students achieve in just three months of study - just imagine what can be done in 3-4 years.
Our new course in The Art of Computer Animation will have a strong focus on character and creature animation, including locomotion, body mechancics, acting and performance - all the elements needed to create a professional animator.
We will also dig deep into the visual effects skillset so that all our graduates have excellent general VFX skills. We will also teach the non-keyframe elements of animation in Maya. Dynamics, Simulation, and Effects will all be covered in detail.

The industry is always changing, and we want to make sure that all our graduates have the right skillset to find work - and enjoy a long and successful career.
