Emily Newton studied the Art of VFX at Escape Studios, contributing to a number of award-winning short films including "AFK" and "Odd Socks". 

Daniela Catita Joins London VFX house Untold Studios

Congratulations to Escapee Daniela Catita who has joined London VFX house Untold Studios. as a Roto/Prep Artist.  Untold Studios is one of the UK's leading VFX houses.

Daniela Catita was a post-graduate student who studied the Art of VFX at Escape Studios, with tutor Klaudija Cermak.  

Sebastian McKernan Joins Untold Studios

Sebastian McKernan Joins Untold Studios

Many congratulations to Escapee Sebastian McKernan who has joined Untold Studios, one of London's leading VFX houses. 

Sebastian McKernan has been working at Escape Studios as a Studio Assistant; prior to that he studied the Art of VFX, contributing to a number of award-winning short films including "Sea of Madness" on which he served as the 3D Lead, and also and "X-Terminate".

Aaron Hopwood Animates Edgar The Dragon

Many congratulations to Escapee Aaron Hopwood, who worked on this year's John Lewis commercial, as a VFX artist and animator. Aaron is an animator at Untold Studios, one of London's newest VFX houses; he did the previs animation, and also animated a number of shots of Edgar the Dragon and the Snowman.

Aaron graduated from Escape Studios with a first-class degree in  the Art of 3D animation this summer, having led a number of successful animation projects during his time at Escape Studios.

Many congratulations to Escapee Aaron Hopwood, who has recently been hired as a VFX artist at Untold Studios in London.

Untold are a new studio formed in 2018 by a number of former executives at London VFX house The Mill, who left and set up their own independent creative studio, focusing on advertising, entertainment and technology.

Aaron completed the 3 year BA in 3D animation this summer, having led a number of successful animation projects during his time at Escape Studios.
