Paul Franklin has collected Oscars for films like Inception, which broke fresh ground in the VFX industry, creating extraordinary effects.
He is also an excellent and entertaining speaker, and we highly recommend that our students attend what promises to be a fascinating evening.

The event is organised by Soundstage and takes place on Thursday December 10th, at The Others, 6 Manor Road, Stoke Newington. Doors open at 7pm, and the event starts at 7:30pm.

Who is Paul Franklin?
Paul Franklin was the visual effects supervisor for Christopher Nolan’s spectacular space epic, Interstellar. He also supervised the visual effects for Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy and Inception. He was also the co-founder of Double Negative, the company that created visual effects for Spectre, Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice and Mission Impossible, among many others. Nolan has won two Oscars, for Interstellar and Inception. He is also a member of the Advisory Board here at Escape Studios, and part of the team that designed our undergraduate programmes.
