PS6003 - Professional Practice Module

Prof Practice Module PS6003
Our Professional Practice Module (PS6003) forms part of the Third Year of Studies at Escape Studios; it starts in September 2023.

PS6003 aims to prepare our third year animation, games and VFX students for the workplace as they approach the end of their studies.  Professional Practice focuses on employability, so that students understand well before they graduate what it takes to succeed in the creative industries.

The animation and vfx industries are booming, but jobs remain competitive, and graduates must ensure they have the right skills to compete successfully.

Third Year Anim & VFX Tutors at Escape Studios

Who teaches the third year undergraduate animation and VFX  students at Escape Studios?

The final year of undergraduate study is in many ways the most important; it's where our students polish their demo reels, work on their CV or resume, and become "studio ready talent".

For our third year animation students, there are three modules, a Specialism Module, a Professional Practice Module, and a Studio Project Module in which students work together to create studio-quality short films.

Sagar Rathod, Paul Harrison, Clement Gharini and Steve Lall are the core team that oversee the third year at Escape Studios.

What's in the 3rd Year at Escape Studios?

3rd year at Escape Studios - what's inside?
What's in the 3rd Year of Undergraduate Studies at Escape Studios? The third year at Escape is where our animation students take everything they have learned in their first two years of undergraduate study, and apply it to the business of creating professional-quality work.

The 3rd year (Level 6) is where students develop a portfolio of work that will enable them to start their careers in industry, and also gain enough experience on group projects to work effectively in teams, to tight deadlines.
