"Little Pirates" Wins "Best Anim" at Kodaikanal Fest

"Little Pirates" wins "Best Animated Short"
Congratulations to the makers of the animated short film "Little Pirates" which has won "Best Animated Short" at the Kodaikanal Film Festival.

Little Pirates was completed as part of Studio Module PR5001, a collaborative module in which second-year animation students work together on short film projects.  

Little Pirates was written and directed by Anna Reyes Ramirez and produced by Angharad Mathias.  This is Little Pirates' third festival award.

 was completed as part of Studio Module PR5001, a collaborative module in which second-year animation students work together on short film projects, simulating as closely as possible the environment and pipeline of a real animation studio. 

Little Pirates was animated in Maya, rendered in Arnold, and edited in Adobe Premiere Pro.

Veteran Animation producer and former Disney executive Max Howard offered feedback to our second year animation students on their short film projects.   Max Howard has many years of experience of animation production, having run animation divisions at Disney, DreamWorks and Warner Bros Feature Animation.
