"Bouya" Wins "Best Micro Short" at Vesuvius Fest

"Bouyawins "Best Micro Short" at Vesuvius Film Fest
Congratulations to the makers of "Bouya", which has won "Best Micro Short" at the Vesuvius Film Festival.  

"Bouya" was directed by Chiyoko Coyte and produced by Alex Sellen, both studying the Art of Computer Animation at Escape Studios.  

"Bouya" tells the story of hidden forest creatures working to clean up the mess left by humans.  This is Bouya's second festival award.

Bouya is a short animated film that tells the story of a mushroom boy who is the caretaker of a forest, and recycles many different pieces of litter, along with his fellow forest dwellers.  Each must do their part to rescue creatures trapped by the waste left behind by thoughtless humans.

Graduating Class of 2023
Bouya was created by our graduating class of animation students, working together to create an original story.  Bouya was animated in Maya, edited in Premiere Pro, and rendered in Unreal Engine.
