Quarantine Chorus - Best Covid-19 film |
Quarantine Chorus is a short animated film about life under Lockdown, and a celebration of the human spirit. It was directed by Edoardo Sartori and produced by Nickoel Izharudin.
Quarantine Chorus has won many awards, including the "Best Director - Super Short Film" at the Lisbon Film Festival, an "Early Bird Grand Award" at the Early Bird Student Film Festival (which brings $1,000 in prize money), Best Animated Short at the Prix Royal Paris Film Awards, Best Animation at the Berlin Flash Film Festival, and also Best Super Short Film at the Prague Monthly Film Festival.
Set in Italy and inspired by a real-life love story from Verona, Italy, "Quarantine Chorus" is a short story about life under lockdown.
Directed by Edoardo Sartori and produced by Nickoel Izharudin, the film was based on an original idea by Tequila Mason. The film was completed entirely from home during the Covid Pandemic. Our students collaborated remotely, animated and rendered their shots relying on their own home resources.
