Shapla
Symphony of The Morning Rush tells the story of a barista overwhelmed by the daily rush of customers at her coffee shop.
Director's Vision
Eva Gifford said "The concept for the film was inspired by my part time job as a barista at a local cafe. I made this film as an ode to the magic of good coffee, and to the chaos that comes with every rush of a shift. Like an orchestral symphony, our protagonist goes through the cyclical ebbs and flows of a job that attracts the strangest of characters."
Software
Symphony of The Morning Rush was animated in TV Paint and edited in Adobe Premiere Pro. It was directed by Eva Gifford who also directed the award-winning short film The Hunt in 2025.
