Rookies: Escape Studios in the Top 15 Globally for VFX

The Rookies, the international competition for aspiring VFX artists, has ranked Escape Studios No 2 in the UK and Number 15 Globally for VFX - a huge achievement for our students and staff. 

VFX is very much at the heart of what we do at Escape Studios; it's where we began over 20 years ago, helping to bridge the gap between the skills that industry needed and what was being taught in schools and colleges.

The Rookies have ranked Escape Studios in the Top 15 globally for VFX, and No 2 in the UK.  This is a huge achievement for both our VFX and Animation students, who combine forces in their final year to produce the VFX Project, a collaborative short film in which students learn the full vfx and animation pipeline.

Escape Studios was also this year ranked by The Rookies No 41 globally in the overall Global Schools Rankings, and in the Top Five in the UK.  In May 2024 Animation Career Review ranked us No 3 in the UK for Animation.
