The 2021 Animation School Rankings are in, and we're delighted to have moved up the UK and global rankings once again.

This year Animation Career Review have ranked us #14 for Animation Internationally, #9 for Animation in Europe, and #3 for Animation in the UK. Congratulations to all students and staff on their hard work.

2021 is the ninth annual international rankings for animation; having considered nearly 200 schools with animation programs from across the globe.

Escape Studios 2020 rankings

In 2020 we moved up the rankings again, being ranked #18 for Animation Internationally,  #10 for Animation in Europe, and  #4 for Animation in the UK.

In 2019 Escape Studios moved up into the top five courses in the UK for the first time.  In 2019 we placed in the top 25 internationally, in the top 10  European Schools, and in the top 5 in the UK.

New courses
Our undergraduate animation courses only began in September 2016, and our first graduates were awarded their degrees in 2019.  But the quality of work done by our students speaks for itself.

Many ways to study animation
In the case of Escape Studios, students can study animation with us at undergraduate or post-graduate level.  We also offer short courses, an Advanced Animation course, and part-time evening classes, classes in Toonboom Harmony, Character Design, Concept Art, Character Creation, Rigging, Storyboarding and Producing animation.
