Minuet
Minuet
With a running time of 5 minutes and 46 seconds, Minuet is our most ambitious short film to date. Overseen by third year animation tutor Michael Davies, and directed by Aaron Hopwood and Harry Pearson, the project was animated in Maya, and rendered in Unreal Engine.

Minuet was developed from a pitch by Harry Pearson, and was completed as part of our third year undergraduate animation students' final year Studio Project, in which students collaborate to work together as a team.

Minuet has won awards for Best Animation in the 2019 Zero Budget Film Festival and the Golden Nugget International Film Festival.

Planet Mars
Directed by Sebastian Kuder and produced by Katerina Zacharakis, Planet Mars is a mockumentary created and animated by 2nd year animation students at Escape Studios.  They had just six weeks to create the film, from concept to final render. Planet Mars was completed as part of the second year of animation studies at Escape Studios, in which students collaborate to produce a number of short film projects.

Adam & Eve Mk II
Produced and Directed by Sebastian Kuder, Adam and Eve Mk. II is a modern re-telling of the Biblical origins story, set in a post-apocalyptic world in which human memories are uploaded into the artificial brain of a humanoid robot.

The short film was created as part of Sebastian's final year project at Escape Studios, and has made the official selection for many international festivals.

Jericho
Directed by Sarah Andrews and produced by Matt Wight, Jericho is a short film about a lonely robot who builds a friend, and was short-listed this year for a BAFTA Student Film Award. Jericho was also "highly commended" at this year's Rookies competition, won the 2019 VFX Prize at the Festival Film Merveilleux in Paris, best animation at the Melrose Film Festival, and is an award winner at the 2019 Zero Budget film festival.
