Dave Edwardz Visits Escape Studios 19 May

A very warm welcome to Dave Edwardz from Locksmith Animation who will visit Escape Studios next week on Thursday May 19th along with his colleague Shelley Page.  Dave is Head of Layout at Locksmith, and will talk about opportunities for graduates to explore entry level positions in 3D Layout at Locksmith.

3D Layout is one of the key roles on an animated film, the equivalent of cinematography on a live-action set.  3D Layout artists make creative choices about camera and layout, contributing significantly to the look and feel of a project.

Dave Edwardz is Head of Layout at Locksmith Animation. His blockbuster film credits include hits such as Game of Thrones, Fantastic Beasts, Star Wars - Rise of Skywalker, Mary Poppins Returns, and many others.

Where and When

Dave Edwardz will join us in Winterfell on the 3rd Floor at 190 High Holborn on Thursday 19th May. His Locksmith Animation colleague Shelley Page will be reviewing our second year animation projects, offering industry feedback and also industry marking at 9.30am.  

Dave will talk to us about 3D Layout at Locksmith at around 11am - all students at Escape Studios are welcome.
