To deliver this, we have teamed up with Comic Book UK to launch this groundbreaking new undergraduate degree, starting September 2027.
This industry-led course is designed to help aspiring Comic Creators, Illustrators, and Storytellers break into the world of publishing, animation, and games.
From Manga to Marvel, students will explore global comic traditions and collaborate on cross-media projects.

Comic Book UK is the voice of the UK comic book industry. Escape Studios and CBUK have joined forces to champion careers in comics and ensure the UK comic industry grows as a major player in the global comic market.
Comics & Visual Storytelling is being developed in collaboration with industry professionals, including editors of some of the UK’s best-known comics and artists that have enjoyed global success. Their expertise ensures the curriculum is focused on equipping students with the skills, insights, and connections needed to build a successful career in comics.

To launch our exciting new partnership, Mark Fuller, Chief Executive of Comic Book UK, and some of the biggest names in UK comics are helping to shape Escape Studios upcoming undergraduate programme in Comics and Visual Storytelling - a course designed to train the next generation of superstar UK comic artists.
