Film Soc is Back with "Ed Wood" on Oct 30th

Escape Studios' Film Society is back on Thursday 30th October with "Ed Wood", the 1994 film by Tim Burton celebrating the low budget "glorious failures" of director Ed Wood. 

The film stars Jonny Depp as Ed Wood, and Martin Landau as Bela Lugosi. 

The screening of Ed Wood takes place on the 10th Floor in the Breakout Space. 

Escape Studios Film Soc

Escape Studios' Film Society is a new student society created to organise film screenings.  Film Society aims to introduce students to a wide array of films to be inspired by and to draw upon on creatively during the course of their studies.  

Screenings take three different forms: in campus screenings, online screenings and out of campus screenings. The first screening is "Flow" on 9th October at 5pm.

In Campus Screenings
In campus screenings are Film Society's main priority; these are screenings that take place in the Escape Studios campus at the breakout space after lessons end.  Currently we are planning for screenings to happen on Thursdays - as many members are on campus.

Online Screenings
Online screenings will be conducted on Discord and will take place on the weekends. The choice of film will be chosen democratically.

Out of Campus Screenings

Out of campus screenings will happen whenever there is a particularly interesting film currently being released in cinemas. Most of the time these screenings will take place at the O2 Cineworld in North Greenwich - a short walk from campus.

How to Join the Film Society
Anyone Escape Studios' student can join the Film Society. The best way to get involved is to join the Discord server as that is where events will be announced.
