Amarok wins Best Trailer at Vesuvius Fest
Congratulations to the makers of "Amarok", which has won its first festival award - "Best Trailer" at the Vesuvius Film Festival. 

Amarok was written and directed by Shenaaz Suliman, co-written by Simone Fraser, produced by Josiah Martin-Lofters, and edited by Cameron Haley.  Amarok is a trailer for a web series about a First Nations police detective in Northern Canada.

Second Year Undergraduate Studio Module 
Amarok was completed as part of Studio Module PR5001, a collaborative module in which second-year animation students work together on short film projects, simulating as closely as possible the workings of a real animation studio.  

About Amarok
Amarok was directed by Shenaaz Suliman, written by Shenaaz Suliman and Simone Fraser, produced by Josiah Martin-Lofters, and edited by Cameron Haley.  The trailer was completed in just under six weeks. 

Series in Development
Amarok is a trailer for a new web series, now in development, about a First Nations police detective in a remote town in Northern Canada. A curfew is imposed as a killer wolf stalks the community.

Festival Success
This is the second festival success for Amarok, which recently was nominated for "Best Trailer" at The Monthly Film Festival in Glasgow (TMFF)
