Escape Studios have been rising the global rankings in the past year or two, having launched our first undergraduate animation course back in 2015.
Rookies - 2019
In September 2019 the Rookies, the international online competition for aspiring VFX artists, ranked Escape Studios at No4 globally for VFX and Animation Production Excellence. This followed the success of short films like Jericho, which was "Highly Commended" in the VFX Film category.

In May 2019, animationcareerreview.com placed Escape Studios in the top 25 animation schools internationally, in the top 10 European Schools, and in the top 5 in the UK. This was a big advance on 2018, when we were ranked in the top 100 globally, when our undergraduate animation course was just 18 months old.
We're delighted by the direction of travel, which is all down to the talent and hard work of our students, who have been creating original animation content and winning awards in festivals, including being short-listed for a student BAFTA.
