UK Govt Loans Now Available for Master's Study

Government help is available
The new student loan system for postgraduate master's degrees has now been launched. Low interest loans will now provide students in the UK with access to postgraduate university courses.

This is very good news indeed for students who would like to do one of our master's degrees in VFX production and Game art, and VFX (compositing) - excellent degrees which are producing superb work.

What's this all about?
The government-backed loans, worth up to £10,000, are available from 2016-17 and will benefit students seeking to study at post-graduate level.   If you’re studying for two or more academic years, you’ll get up to £5,000 in your first year and the rest in your second year.

Watch our latest reel below and you will see some of the work done by our MA students. The games environments in particular (such as the opening shot of the Mars lander) are especially impressive.

What subjects qualify?
Loans will be offered in any master's subject.

How old/young do you have to be?
Loans are available to students under 60 on the first day of the first academic year of the course.

Do you have to be British or live in the UK?
It's complicated. See the official page for who qualifies.

Does the money have to be repaid?
Yes, the loans must be repaid, concurrently with any undergraduate loans.
