High Holborn |
We were planning on taking some extra space in the Shepherd's building (the current West London home of Escape Studios) but we've been so impressed by the number and the quality of applications for our new undergraduate courses that we've decided to take a larger space in central London.

This is excellent news for all our students. High Holborn is a vibrant part of central London with excellent transport links and tons of stuff to do. We're near major London landmarks like the British Museum and quirky favourites like the Sir John Soane Museum.
And, crucially, we are walking distance to Soho - home of the UK's animation and visual effects industries, which will make it even easier for us to maintain close links with industry and attract the best speakers for our students.
We're also a short walk from Student Central, the University of London hub which all our students have access to.
Our course is validated by Kent, a Top Twenty University in the UK |
Our new course in The Art of Computer Animation will have a strong focus on character and creature animation, including locomotion, body mechancics, acting and performance - all the elements needed to make up a professional animator's skillset.
We will also dig deep into the visual effects skillset so that all our graduates have excellent general VFX skills. We will also teach the non-keyframe elements of animation in Maya. Dynamics, Simulation, and Effects will all be covered in detail.
The industry is always changing, and we want to make sure that all our graduates have the right skillset to find work - and enjoy a long and successful career.
