How do you keep on top of the latest jobs in the animation industry?
Remember, animation jobs go fast, and you need to keep an eye on the right websites and Twitter feeds.
Cartoon Brew is one of the sites you should check regularly, as well as animated jobs.com. Nowadays graduates need to focus more time and effort than ever in the course of finding that elusive first job in the industry, and part of this involves keeping an eye closely on the jobs advertised online.

Lots of companies now post jobs at Twitter, and they only post them once. Aardman recently posted for a job for a character designer at Twitter, got 100 applications, and then quickly took down the tweet. Why? Because 100 applications is plenty to go through.
In other words, you have to be alert, and you have to be fast. Animation jobs don't hang around. Polish your demo reel, make sure your CV is up to date, follow the companies you like at Twitter, and keep an eye on your Twitter feed.
Right now, animation in London is booming. But you still have to be swift and bold to get the jobs when they come up.
