Blue Zoo Animation Lunch Club! Monday 11th April at 1.30pm BST

Here at Escape Studios we're big admirers of Blue Zoo, one of London's biggest and most inventive animation studios. So it's great to see Blue Zoo hosting a round table discussion and Q&A on the craft of making animation and working in the industry.

The "Lunch Club" Round table takes place on Facebook on Monday 11th April at 1.30pm, and it's completely free!

So, what exactly can Blue Zoo animation fans expect?

What is this event?
Blue Zoo animation are hosting a round table discussion and Q&A on the craft of making animation and working in the industry.

Why do this round table?
Because Blue Zoo take seriously the idea of industry outreach. As they put it, they are "always looking at ways we can reach out to the animation community to help each other hone & perfect our skills".

What is the focus of the discussion?
The event will "focus on creating cartoony CG animation for TV"

Where will it take place?
Rather than doing a pre-recorded podcast or YouTube post, Blue Zoo "wanted to do something a bit different, where we could really interact with the animation community - a Facebook Live video broadcast!"

When is the first round table discussion happening?
The first discussion will be broadcast live on Facebook on Monday 11th April at 1.30pm BST, where Blue Zoo "will have a bunch of our in-house animation directors discussing how they do their job and on hand to answer any questions". So, if you have any questions for Blue Zoo -  email them now at live@blue-zoo.co.uk. Or, you can post questions at Facebook while the broadcast is live. Blue Zoo would love to hear from you!
